Today it
was cloudy and a bit cold, but we were ready to go on a new adventure.
We all met
at 9:30 and we went to the train station to take the train to Dublin.
When we got
to Dublin we grabbed some maps and split in groups. The first group had to
locate “The Spire” and guide us there. After that we went to Ha´penny Bridge, a
pedestrian bridge built in May 1816 over the River Liffey in Dublin.
We got to
Temple bar. We peeped in to the bar and then visited Dublin Castle, its gardens
and The Chester Beatty Library.
Finally we
went to Trinity College. We interviewed some students and visited “Turning
Darkness into Light”, the exhibition where The book of Kells is shown.
