Second day in Dublin

Today the weather was cold but it was not raining in the morning.
As we did yesterday, we have gone to Balbriggan Station to take the train to Dublin. However, we have stopped in Tara Station because we were going to start our adventure in Trinity College.

At Trinity College a graduation was taking part. We have played an interviewing game in which we have to get some information about the different degrees that you can study there, so we have asked to the just graduated students. We have been talking to them and we have noticed that a person can study more than one hundred degrees there!

We have also had the chance of speaking with the proffessor who was in charge of giving the degrees. She was a very nice woman, and she has been spoken to us a lot. She has also let us to take a photo with her.

Later, we have visited The Book of Kells and the old library of the Trinity College, an enormous library with thousands of books.
We have learnt how the Book of Kells was made, who made it and why is so important nowadays.
The library was amazing! You could see thousands of books around you, books everywhere! Along the whole gallery, there were a lot of famous writers, politicians, philosophers sculptures. We have asked about the different letters we could see both sides of the gallery, and the guardian has explained to us that they were the beginning letters of the book titles and that they used them to find where is each book.

The next stop has been The Wax Museum. We have walked around the Irish history, we have met famous writers, politicians and sportsmen. We have also learnt different things about technology and we have been in a music studio where we have played the drums and the piano.
We have met Luke Skywalker, Superman, David Bowie, Batman and The Joker among others. It has been an awesome morning.

After that, we have gone to Stephen's Green Park to have lunch. By the way we have gone past Molly Malone's statue and listened to a very interesting guide who has told us her story. Once at the park, we have been surrounded by dozens of pidgeons and seagulls which wanted to eat our food.

To finish the day we have gone shopping. We have discovered some typical shops where we have bought presents for you. We hope you will like them!

  4. Just to complete the album, you should think about taking a photo of the photographer and the writers (summary writer and agenda writer). I'm sure you'll find another photographer.
Thanks for sharing with us your journey, I hope you enjoy the trip as much as the pupils do.
